Wired in with 2017: Looking Ahead to the New Year

Happy new year friends! It is almost impossible to believe that we are nearly halfway through January already, but here we are.

We would like to start off 2017 by issuing a huge thank you to all of our friends, family and fans for your endless ongoing support for the merger between Rausch Productions and 16th Avenue Music last year. The road to becoming fully operative as Wired Production Group is coming closer by the day. We are looking forward to the completion of our additional warehouse and office space at the Rausch location so that we can house all of our staff and inventory under a single roof.

As we get closer to accomplishing this, we ask that you all aid us in this shift by following all of our updates on social media. We are in the process of shifting all of our digital media to Wired Production Group accounts, but for the time being, we will update all of our current accounts. We just ask that you simply show your support by following WPG on its new page on Facebook! This will ensure that you don’t miss out on any of the exciting images, videos and updates that we will post throughout the year, keeping you in touch with us on a daily basis.

Our additional warehouse will be 8,000 square feet with two semi loading docks and two overhead garage doors to aid in the loading of all of our trucks.

As mentioned above, our warehouse construction is going very well, despite the arctic temperatures that we’ve had! You can see in the photo above, that we now have walls that are in the process of being weather sealed. The blueprints for heating and gas have been dropped off to the city for inspection and approval, too, meaning that everything is on track for completion. This additional warehouse space is a huge endeavor (literally, the space is 8,000 square feet!) and will allow Wired Production Group to merge all of our employees and inventory into one space.

Some of you may have seen last year, that we acquired two new semis for loading and transporting our gear to all of our different events. Some of our staff members are currently in process of obtaining their CDL so that they can officially drive these trucks! Alton is so fascinated with what he has learned about semis, that he’s teaching the rest of us, too.

A side of our business that isn’t as readily seen is our video production team. We do a number of corporate videos each year for some of our top clients. Our videographers have already traveled to two different states this year to get footage for upcoming video projects, once again affirming our status as a truly nationwide company.

For those of you event planners securing all the details for upcoming music festivals, we are now planning for our summer live music schedule! While summer may seem like it is a long way off, these huge festivals require months of planning and it is one of our busiest seasons. From county fairs to music festivals, we have an ample amount of experience under our belts, so give us a call today to secure us for all of your staging, lighting, and sound needs!

Watch our time-lapse video above for the setup and show from the 2016 America’s River Festival in Dubuque, IA.

We are so excited for what 2017 holds for us and for our fans and clients. We wouldn’t be where we are without the support of so many and look forward to continuing to provide all of your event service needs!
